Creating a Welcoming A-State Campus

The Office of Institutional Integrity and Title IX is charged with the responsibility to oversee A-State's compliance efforts with state and federal laws surrounding Title IX, Non-Discrimination, Equal Opportunity, and campus-wide initiatives aimed at creating a welcoming campus.

What We Do

The office provides advice on policies, programs and services to achieve institutional goals and enhance the culture of the campus community; oversees the prevention, reporting, investigation, and remedy of sexual discrimination (including harassment, assault, and violence) and other complaints of harassment or discrimination based on a protected classification (e.g., race, religion, disability, national origin) on campus. The staff of the Office of Institutional Integrity and Title IX delivers educational programs, support activities and programs for students, faculty and staff. Programs are offered as scheduled or upon request.

A-State is Committed to the Goal of Equal Opportunity for All

This policy is adopted by the Arkansas State University Board of Trustees. All personnel responsible for hiring employees and recruiting students share a responsibility to support the university's equal opportunity program and to provide leadership in achieving its goals.

Equal Employment Opportunity

A-State does not discriminate on the basis of color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, age, national origin, religion, marital status, veteran status, genetic information or disability in any of its practices, policies or procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, employment, admissions, educational services, programs or activities which it operates or financial aid.

It is the responsibility of all departments and all personnel, supervisory and non-supervisory, to see that this policy is implemented throughout the university.
